Archaeological nora

Legend has it that it was founded by a mythical hero, of Iberian origin, speak Norace. This epic birth fits the superb Nora perfectly, how beautiful it is but also a precious archaeological jewel that the whole Mediterranean envies us.

With an exquisitely Phoenician and Punic character before, later Roman, Nora today is not only the sea but also and above all archeology.

To visit

The theater can still be visited today, the temple of Tanit, the forum of Nora and four thermal complexes that tell us of an ancient Norense life devoted to well-being and the good life. Who wouldn't want to spend an afternoon in what is still today the grandiose spa complex of Terme a Mare?

The Eshmum temple is also worth a visit, the house of the Tetrastyle Atrium and some avenues still perfectly paved today. Not least the floors of stately homes, riot of precious mosaics.

Timetables and information
